It's Election Day

 These are the women of my family.  My late mom, me, my cousins ME and K, and K's daughter S.  There are four generations here.

My mom has been gone for 16 years, but I found this photo of her wearing pearls - so I added it to the ones of all of us because she is the one who taught and led by her example.  All of the strong women in my family have her to thank, and I know that if she was still alive, she'd be wearing those pearls today.  But she's not.  So one of the strings I am wearing is the one she is wearing in her photo.  

We wear them today in memory of The Notorious RBG (aka, the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg), and in honor and support of Kamala Harris.  

This is an historic day my friends and I wanted to document it.
