And Another One's Gone . . .

I've been home for two days now, nursing what appears to be a garden variety cold.  I thought it was allergies, but I have been wiped out now since Saturday, shortly after I finished recording the 100th episode of my podcast, All About African Violets.

I would just like to say that daytime television is really really horrible.  I have been reduced to watching a tattoo show because Dave Navarro is hot.  I mean, really?!

On the happy side, I finished the #6 project of plain vanilla socks  :-)

The next two in the pipeline are the Elementary Watson Socks and Holidazed.  I decided to finish them both.

Wow! You are certainly working your way through the knitting projects. I'd like some of your ambition, and your sick! But what else is there to do besides wipe your nose and sneeze? ;) Hope you're feeling better soon.

I have to agree about daytime TV. There isn't much worth watching. I usually end up watching programs on PBS. At least there aren't as many annoying commercials.

Glad that your budget is working out. It takes a while to get into the groove and mindset, but it sure does help to make life easier. I've been making it a challenge to get as much for my buck as possible, so I clip coupons, look for sales, etc. And there is always that old standby --- save up for what you want or need. Would be nice if we married that rich prince and yes, he has to be a rich prince!!
