17:365 Columnea 'Aladdin's Lamp'

Columneas are cousins to the African violet. I raise and show African violets, and have a few of what are called "companion plants" or "other gesneriads." Columneas fall into this category. Sometimes they are called the "flying fish plant," for obvious reasons. I love them and have three different hybrids. Aladdin is my favorite :-)

That's a great photo; never heard of the plant but it really does look like a flying fish!

Do you know anything about bromeliads, like how to get one to bloom again?
